Free at last thank god almighty free at last....

They have left, my two week jail sentence has ended for this year..the kids left at 9pm. I have them for the week after Christmas and I am trying to plan a disney world vacay for that period of time so we don't have to sit in the house.

Surprisingly Melancholy....

Well, shes off to Penn State and my darling husband is trapped in a car with his ex wife for the next few hours and then all the way home tonight (by themselves), hopefully that will make him much more appreciative of me! LOL

I was sad to see her go, I even teared up and melancholy is the best way to describe it, a "gentle sadness"...I am shocked to say the least, I have been counting down the days but I find myself thinking wow, I remember when she was in 8th grade...how can this be?

I think its an amazing step for her, and academically she's amazing, graduated a tough high school with a 4.3 gpa (there is a lot of diverse cultures in this district ;) ) and now shes off to a top 10 business school..not too bad, I am proud of her, I just hope that being a very small fish in a very big pond helps with a slight attitude adjustment that is sorely needed.

On another note, I have been up for what seems like forever (Alex left at 5:30 this morning) because the ex's parents are coming by to pick up Taylor for practice and they judge...so since everyone always oh so graciously lets them in, I have to clean up this mess that everyone else has made....

OMG...10 18 year olds and me drinking all night

equals a 32 year old with a hangover until 1pm....lord lord lord it was a good time but wow...I think I have now run my course with margaritas.

Awesome times with awesome ladies...

OMG, I had the best time this week and I will update later but I just want to say thank you, you guys rock!!

Tiny Dancer

Well, OJ is the dancing-est baby that I have seen, I love it, she totally digs classic rock and show tunes. Some of her favorite songs are "our house", "margaritaville", and "lively up yourself" and she totally jams away to lots of different types of music. So, I have enrolled her in the dance studio down the street for tiny tots dance. OMG, this is going to be SO funny.
